Day and Night Jewellery specialise in asscher cut diamonds and aquamarine jewellery. The "Asscher cut diamond" was created in 1902
by the Asscher Brothers of Holland. It is a stepped square cut, commonly called the "square emerald cut" and like an emerald cut, the Asscher has
cropped corners. Aquamarine (Lat. aqua marin?, "water of the sea") is a variety of beryl, it has a delicate blue or turquoise color, suggestive of the
tint of seawater. It's closely related to the gem emerald.
